I am incredibly dissatisfied with my recent interaction with a representative from the company. I called at 1:27 p.m. to reach an accountant. The individual who answered confirmed my phone number and promised to call back in five minutes. Fifteen minutes went by without a call. When I called again, he apologized and asked for another 5–10 minutes, claiming he was occupied with another client. After another wait, he returned my call about 10 minutes later, asking for my number again, which he had already confirmed. When I reminded him, he admitted, “To be honest, I didn’t write it down; I was busy.” This isn’t honesty; it’s negligence. Such carelessness and lack of accountability illustrate the decline of customer service in Canada. I have been a customer for over a decade, and I can confidently say that the level of professionalism has significantly decreased. It’s disheartening to see reputable companies allowing uncommitted employees to tarnish their reputation and erode public trust. I expect this issue to be taken seriously, with appropriate actions and compensation for the inconvenience. I also plan to share my experience publicly once resolved, not to attack, but to advocate for improved service standards in this country, as it deserves much better. Additionally, I have reported this incident to the customer care department, and once the case is closed, I will publish a video discussing the resolution and actions taken against the individual on my social media channel, where I have a significant following.
