I found that the catches on my cat flap (which seems quite old since it's been installed for 3 years) were no longer functioning from the inside (allowing other cats to enter freely). I reached out to customer service and spoke with a real person who asked several questions to pinpoint the issue. I received an email detailing how to take apart the cat flap and clean the catches, and was advised to inform them if cleaning didn't resolve the problem. Unfortunately, cleaning didn't help, and upon hearing this, the company arranged (at no cost) for a new motor and installation instructions to be sent. Customer service of this caliber is rare these days. Kudos to the company, well-deserved 5 stars.
