On September 17, 2025, I arrived with my wife and kid 5 years in Naples and had hired this car rental company for 8 days; The experience started off badly because I spent 1 hour on the phone waiting for someone to answer the phone and no one answered, much less did anyone come to pick me up at the airport.So I had to Google the location of the rental car and pay for a taxi to get there.Once there, I asked why they weren't answering the phones and why they hadn't picked me and my family up. They told me the phone didn't ring, so they weren't responsible. I grabbed my phone and asked if the number I was calling was correct, and they said yes. I called them in front of them, and of course, no phone rang, despite saying I was on hold and to wait.They were very rude and impolite and didn't care at all about what happened, they didn't even apologize.We then began the rental process, and despite having purchased €60 all-risk insurance from a separate insurer, the rental car agent began very aggressively scaring me that my insurance was useless and that if I didn't take out their €400 insurance, they would take away my €1,200 deposit. I said I didn't want it, and he insisted a lot and tried everything to get me to do it, until I told him I wanted to cancel the entire process and would no longer rent anything with them, even though I had already paid €200 for the 8-day rental and that I would lose that money.At that point, he stopped insisting and told me we were moving forward. He told me to sign a document on his phone, which he wouldn't let me read. He said he'd email it to me, and after signing, I could read it. He gave me the key to a battered, scratched FIAT PANDA and told me to get in the car. He had no interest in explaining how the car worked, much less checking its condition with him. He just told me to take pictures or videos of the car if you want.I lost almost two hours between leaving the airport and leaving the rental car with the car.My son and my wife waited 2 hours at the airport for me to return with the car.Eight days later, I returned to drop off the car. Obviously, I was expecting them to try to steal my €1,200 deposit. They tried three times to claim damage not mentioned in the initial report, but I was able to prove that all the damage was already there on the day I received the car, using detailed photos and videos I had taken.They were upset that they couldn't steal from me and ordered me and my 5-year-old son, loaded with four suitcases, to get into the car we had rented, which would then take us to the airport.On the way to the airport, they told us they couldn't drop us off at the airport because they weren't allowed in, which is false, as any car can drop off passengers at the airport. They left me and a 5-year-old child 300 meters from the airport gate with four suitcases. This is completely unacceptable, and these gentlemen should be arrested, as they are true thieves, with bad character . Please do not use this company to rent vehicles; you will be robbed and mistreated.
