AVOID AT ALL COSTSIn 30+ years of hiring cars in various parts of the world, this was without doubt the worst car hire experience ever. Told us that pick up was from the terminal, WRONG, it’s a shuttle bus, get to pick the car up and are told it’s either basic insurance with a €1600 excess or to reduce the excess to zero it was €840! Im fully aware that hire companies charge a fee to reduce excess but €840 is ridiculous. On to the car, 160,000km absolute wreck, scratched on every panel, interior trim peeling off, felt like it was about to give up any second. In all honesty the car was probably worth less than the excess payment. Upon return they even had the cheek to complain about some sand in the footwell. My advice would be to hire from anyone but these con artists.
