I recently visited Sushi Samba at the Heron Tower with high expectations, especially given my background with Peruvian cuisine from living in South America. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of what I had anticipated.Pros:The Plantain Chips starter was enjoyable.Cons:Ceviche Tuna (0/10): Disappointingly masked tuna flavor, questioning the understanding of Peruvian cuisine.Moqueca Mista: Overpowering coconut cream overshadowed the fish's natural flavor.Churrasco: Decent, but meat arrived medium to well-cooked, and chorizo was dry and overcooked.Service:The 14% service rating is puzzling; the high tower setting shouldn't excuse subpar food quality.Overall Experience:My dining experience at Sushi Samba was one of the worst I've had. I expected much more, especially considering the diverse influences promised by the menu.
