Swappa was recommended to me, and I had the worst purchasing experience ever. First of all, this seller, “Kylie” waited till the last minute to ship the iPad I purchased from her. She had to be asked by me and the Swappa team to ship the item and then to post the tracking info. When the iPad arrived, it had not been reset, still required a passcode and I could not access the iPad. After lots of back and forth the seller agreed to give a refund if I mailed it back. I did, provided tracking info, and when it arrived I didn’t receive confirmation from Kylie for over two weeks. She stated she was out of town, would not confirm receiving the iPad until she was back in town, but failed to tell me this or arrange for someone to pick it up. When she confirmed receiving it, she asked if I(!) put a code on the iPad and asked why she was locked out! Swappa reminded her that this was the state the iPad arrived in. Long story short, she did not submit a refund, and I lost lots of time and $256. I gave the seller a bad review on Swappa, but I feel that Swappa should have done more to facilitate a refund. They told me to contact PayPal or Venmo, neither of whom gave me a refund.
