My sofa was delivered damaged

Update: I finally received my fixed sofa two months later. But it was allowed to leave the warehouse without the proper hardware to screw in the furniture feet. With this, I just sighed and decided to return this one also, and request a full refund. I was given an apology, and offer to send a repairman to install the hardware and a 20 percent refund. Twenty percent is not enough for the amount of time I've been waiting for this, and how much I paid. It's laughable considering if this is the exact same sofa I sent back the first time (certainly they didn't rebuild it from scratch) then that means this missing hardware situation made it through QA twice! -------My sofa was delivered damaged. I refused it and the delivery company returned it to Swoon. I waited more than two months for that sofa to be built. I paid a lot of money for it. A short apology was given and the solutions presented fell short of my expectations from a company that charges so much money for their furniture. Solutions given were: pick something off the discount selection, order the same sofa (non expedited service) or get a refund plus a 10 percent off coupon for future use. I knew it would take a while to get a new one but I thought under these circumstances that when I reordered the same sofa with customer service, that: 1. My replacement would be put at the front of the line of sofas being built or even more acceptable would be: 2. When they received my returned sofa they would just fix the parts that were damaged and send it back to me in a couple of weeks. Or, at the very least: 3. I get a small percentage refunded for my inconvenience. I sold my old sofa two days before I was supposed to get my new one. I now will need to sit on my floor for two or so months. I have a bad back, which is why I needed a new sofa in the first place. Luckily this is a purchase not made very often so I will luckily never need to deal with this again.But when it comes time to get a new sofa I won’t be shopping with Swoon.
