I've operated a NAS for several years and it has been incredibly reliable—truly one of my best tech investments. I've recommended the service to friends and family for a long time. However, that has changed. The new drive compatibility limitations are a significant departure from what made this service attractive: dependable, adaptable, and user-friendly hardware. When my sister sought a home NAS suggestion, I couldn't in good faith recommend it anymore. We're opting for another option instead. This isn't just about one lost sale; it's about eroding the trust of the passionate community that helped build your reputation through word-of-mouth. Those who set up NAS units for their less tech-savvy relatives and used to recommend you without hesitation. I hope the leadership reconsiders this strategy. Until then, my recommendations will go elsewhere.
