I placed an order from a restaurant in Dubai through Talabat, and the experience was unacceptable. The order took much longer than the estimated time on the app. After waiting over 40 minutes, I called the driver, only to be told he was just on his way to pick up the order.When the food finally arrived, not only was one item missing, but the entire order was in a horrible state — it was literally frozen and completely inedible. We had to throw it away.I contacted Talabat to complain, and after about an hour, they called back just to apologize and offer a refund of only AED 15 for the missing item. I had paid AED 125 in total, and the issue wasn’t just the money — it was about the complete lack of respect and care for a loyal, regular customer.This level of service is unacceptable. I’ve deleted the app and will now use Deliveroo or any of the many other food delivery apps out there that actually value their customers.
