I ordered dinner at 7:53 PM today 15 May 2025, from a restaurant I regularly order from. The Talabat app initially showed a delivery estimate of 30–40 minutes. That kept getting pushed back until 10:15 PM. I reached out via chat to the assigned driver—no response. I also contacted customer service, who informed me there was a shortage of drivers and the one assigned was 30 minutes away.At 10:15 PM—over two hours later—the order status still said "order placed," then suddenly changed to "being prepared." I was told a new driver 5 minutes away from the restaurant would pick it up. Minutes later, I was told it was finally "on the way."While expressing my frustration over this 3-hour delay, I was told during the call that the driver’s vehicle had broken down, and a third driver was being assigned. By then, it was 11 PM.Three hours of waiting, three different drivers, zero food delivered. Customer service simply listened but offered no real resolution.This was unacceptable. I’ll be uninstalling Talabat and no longer using the service.
