I needed one product urgently for a Saturday family dinner, so went to talabat and found it in one of the supermarkets on the app, so ordered it and added a couple of things that I didn't really need to build it above AED 30, waited to get confirmation then went on preparing, to my surprise I check my phone 40 minutes later and find a message that the value of that product was returned as talabat pay, I checked further and found a previous message stating they didn't have the item. That was the biggest slap in the face as the whole meal wqs delayed at that time no matter what, so i got so frustrated and started trying to reach talabat, and it really pushed my blood pressure up as i couldn't find any help option, and everything led me to one stupid page that was actually useless feedback, finally after wasting 20 minutes i found customer service chat option extremely hidden in the menu, and managed to talk to a staff. As I was complaining he told me he can't issue compensation which i never asked for, so I asked him to cancel the whole order, and went on to remove the stupid app.Funny enough the staff's answer to my frustration of not finding customer support option (unlike before) was that the did it to make things easier, and he explained that they used to be contacted by customers for small things, so this way they get less messages, which effectively means it's just easier for talabat and no one else.Poor delivery person did make it and I sent him back with the partial order, having a decent customer service would've saved him the trip.
