Literally they handed me something else I didnt even order!!!The ordeal didn’t end there. I spent an exasperating hour on the phone with their customer service representative, Hamza, who refused to issue a refund and insisted on escalating the matter unnecessarily. This is a clear-cut case: I ordered and paid for a specific item, which is clearly stated on the invoice, but I received something else entirely.Their stalling tactics and refusal to resolve this issue are not just poor service; they border on fraudulent behavior. I explicitly mentioned that I would escalate this matter to the customer protection agency if they didn’t resolve it promptly, but my warnings were ignored.I urge everyone to be cautious when ordering from Talabat. If this is how they handle clear mistakes and mistreat paying customers, it’s a huge red flag. I am extremely disappointed and will not hesitate to share this experience widely to warn others about their practices. Avoid Talabat if you expect reliable service and accountability.
