One of the worst Customer Service experiences in my life and also one of the most stupid and money stealing devious offers strategies applied on their app! I regularly order from talabat, and had accumulated more than 4000 points, for redeeming. I redeemed one free friend rice from chin chin, when i go to order, the app said something went wrong. For one month, i tried to no avail. Then contacted customer service, their response was 'switch on airplane mode, switch off, restart phone, restart app, etc'. Did everything, no change. I wrote back, saying nothing worked, after that never recieved a response! Horrible customer service! I have never used their points system ever after that! Next - their discount strategy is simply to make a fool out of their customers! I bought the Pro version for free deliveries for minimum order of 30dhs. On certain occasions, restaurants offer 50% discounts, so I choose the food with original price (say 50dhs). On this, i should get free delivery plus 50% discount. But the oversmart money stealing guys at talabat will pull a one up on me! Since, the 50% discount makes it 25dhs, so now i have to buy an additional 5 dhs to make it 30dhs to avail the free delivery. But wait, if i buy a 5dhs item, 50% discount will make it 2.5dhs, so still dont get my free delivery!! And so on and so forth!! One of the worst Marketing and money stealing strategies (or the lack of it!).Unfortunately, im still buying from them as there is no other app now in the market especially in Sharjah. Hopefully, the team will read this and bring some sanity to their stupid offers and customer service.
