What went wrong "this time"... Talabat is always doing something wrong! I think they are aiming to provide the worst service imaginable. They don't care about their customers and as far as staffing, it is reflective of their customer service. They hire staff with little to no experience. This includes their live chat representatives, their drivers, and even their managers who are supposed to handle escalated customer complaints. I have never complained and received a resolution which satisfied me.I stopped using Talabat a few years ago and life was so much easier when using other platforms. I am not sure what possessed me to return but after this latest experience, I will not be returning ever again. I have no hopes for Talabat changing for the better. I only have assurance that they will continue to get worse. When a company is content with the revenue they are making, even when it's at the cost of their customer's complete satisfaction, this will only drive them to continue to lower their standards.
