Booked assembly of IKEA bed settee:
The assembly was paid for and booked for Monday 30th March. I was at work so my adult son travelled 170 miles to be at the family home to await the assembly person arriving.
No one turned up.
I telephoned IKEA when I got home from work and was told that Taskrabbit had, in fact, been unable to match my job with an assembler, despite the fact that the Monday slot had been booked and given to me.
The earliest they could offer was five days later which was utter useless.
The sofa had been bought for visiting guests - arriving on the Thursday so the Friday booking was not possible.
My current sofa had been dismantled in preparation for the new sofa bed being constructed that day.
Very disappointing and unsatisfactory, causing much inconvenience for my family and me.
