I booked TaskRabbit through IKEA to assemble a new chest of drawers, and our workman was absolutely brilliant — I’d use him again without hesitation. However, I ran into a major issue when I tried to amend my address after accidentally entering the wrong house number. Both IKEA and TaskRabbit were unhelpful and did not correct the mistake, which was extremely frustrating.
Thankfully, I managed to resolve it directly with the workman through messaging. This really shouldn’t be necessary. IKEA and TaskRabbit need to improve their process for fixing simple customer errors, as I can imagine many bookings being lost because of this.
Despite the confusion, Jozef, our handyman, did an excellent job and still managed to find our home. He was the saving grace of the whole experience.
