My list of wants is pretty easy: male, 45-59, height doesn't matter, income doesn't matter, but prefer liberal leaning. And, most importantly, being close geographically to my home town. That's it. Tawkify sales: "No problem! We have a ton of potential matches!!" So I signed up.....mistake. I urge whoever reads this to STOP and consider before signing up. There are NO refunds and no motivation for your matchmaker to honor your wish list. I've had 2/6 matches so far and both are well over an hour (60 miles) from my hometown. And no hope on the horizon of a match near me. They'll try to shoot for 40 miles in the next matches, per the support team. I asked for a prorated refund as I suspect they don't have the applicant pool they advertised. But was advised that there is a strict NO REFUNDS policy. So that's it. I can continue matching outside my area, match inside my area with someone who doesn't meet the literal THREE requests (liberal-leaning, male, 45-59), or give a credit of my remaining matches to a friend (no idea if it's all 4 or just a portion). Maybe I have a friend who is looking for Breathing Human and the match maker can do their best?? My match maker also ghosted me for weeks, then left and now have not yet met whoever is my new matchmaker.
Overall, TERRIBLE experience. Particularly given the cost. Do NOT be like me. Don't believe the sales person. Do not pay for this "service".
I signed up in June 2025 and have only had 2 matches and BOTH did not meet my basic requests. Unacceptable. But they refuse to admit there is a problem and fix it.
