I went on my first Tawkify date last week and it was immediately clear that my matchmaker, Chantal, had really taken the time to understand me.
My date and I shared so many aligned values and nuanced similarities. I felt genuinely cared for and thoughtfully matched.
On the date there was a strong baseline of respect from the start which made it easier for both of us to relax, be ourselves, and have deeper conversations.
Chantal and the Tawkify team are amazing. I highly recommend Tawkify to anyone who wants a more intentional dating experience focused on what actually matters without the burnout of swiping apps or leaving things to chance (especially when meeting people organically doesn’t always happen the way you hope;( ).

A person who meets you for 20 minutes, really can’t know what you’re looking for. All my dates were with men who had only been interviewed, similarly, for 20 minutes. Matchmakers are for a different era when there was community in a village. Take the time to go through some profiles and save your money.
Jake was easy to work with at Tawkify. He relayed information about the potential match and promptly sent over a f/u link to get the date scheduled. It was a good first date and we had a lot in common!

My list of wants is pretty easy: male, 45-59, height doesn't matter, income doesn't matter, but prefer liberal leaning. And, most importantly, being close geographically to my home town. That's it. Tawkify sales: "No problem! We have a ton of potential matches!!" So I signed up.....mistake. I urge whoever reads this to STOP and consider before signing up. There are NO refunds and no motivation for your matchmaker to honor your wish list. I've had 2/6 matches so far and both are well over an hour (60 miles) from my hometown. And no hope on the horizon of a match near me. They'll try to shoot for 40 miles in the next matches, per the support team. I asked for a prorated refund as I suspect they don't have the applicant pool they advertised. But was advised that there is a strict NO REFUNDS policy. So that's it. I can continue matching outside my area, match inside my area with someone who doesn't meet the literal THREE requests (liberal-leaning, male, 45-59), or give a credit of my remaining matches to a friend (no idea if it's all 4 or just a portion). Maybe I have a friend who is looking for Breathing Human and the match maker can do their best?? My match maker also ghosted me for weeks, then left and now have not yet met whoever is my new matchmaker.
Overall, TERRIBLE experience. Particularly given the cost. Do NOT be like me. Don't believe the sales person. Do not pay for this "service".
I signed up in June 2025 and have only had 2 matches and BOTH did not meet my basic requests. Unacceptable. But they refuse to admit there is a problem and fix it.
