Awful. Booked airport transfer at Christmas in Italy, return taxi didn't account for heavy traffic on busiest travel day after new year and failed to get us to the airport in time for our flight. Unable to get a different taxi due to all local services being booked up. Booking.com admitted responsibility and refunded the return taxi journey, but nothing for the purchase of 6 flights, overnight accommodation (despite this being via booking.com),taxis etc and travel in the UK as ended up 24hrs later in Glasgow not Manchester. Contacted booking.com via email, app and even tried telephoning. Multiple emails for over a month. No response except automated messages that did not make sense. Second attempt in the chat, was told they had my information but my claim for compensation was rejected. Unable to provide any contact details to escalate or details of their legal team to start claims proceedings. Unable to provide a written response to my formal complaint. They did offer me a 20% discount on future taxi bookings which is an insult. Terrible customer service. Avoid.
