The service has misled us as taxpayers in need of assistance with back taxes. We engaged their services over a year ago, paying a substantial fee for help that was never provided. We failed to file taxes on my husband's pension income during his first retirement year, unaware that it was taxable. After paying $2500 for their promised assistance, they did not fulfill their commitment to reduce our tax penalty. It feels like they exploit vulnerable individuals rather than offering genuine help. To make matters worse, their staff seemed uninformed about their own processes. Caution is advised! We sought their help in March 2023, but by December 2024, they canceled their representation without resolving our tax issue, which was supposed to involve a $3000 reduction in penalties. We received written confirmation of this reduction, but the IRS informed us that no such agreement was made. We paid $2400 for unfulfilled services and raised our concerns with their Quality Services Department, which assigned a manager to our case. Despite assurances, we received no further communication after submitting additional forms for penalty reduction. Ultimately, we were notified of the cancellation of services without any resolution. They were compensated for services that were never delivered.
