The product has changed but the way used cars are sold has not. I bought a car that was 11 months old but it may as well have been a Model T!!!!
Modern cars are very technical and have a long list of features and extras. Not a lot of time explaining the car and it's workings but still time to sell upgraded warrenty, paint protection, gap insurance and breakdown cover.
I felt my needs were not of interest, how I used a car was not a question, what did I want from a car was not asked and alternatives to the one I had spotted were never offered.
I bought the car, so far so good but it was a bland experience not reflecting the Ford hype or style.
Not sure it's a fault of the dealership more about the trade not moving forward with the times.
