As a first-grade teacher, my students are thrilled with this program! They cheer whenever I mention we’re going to use the platform. It’s incredibly engaging and aligns well with our classroom learning. We have explored all its components and found each to provide quality educational experiences!
As a technology teacher in a K-1 setting, I use this program with hundreds of students. While managing player accounts can be cumbersome, the benefits are worth it. I teach and review phonics skills and how to navigate our devices. We utilize QR badges for logins, though they don’t work for this platform. I appreciate being able to customize usernames for students, making them simpler and more personal. This year, I also printed progress trackers, which students use to visually track their progress. I recommend this approach; it requires extra effort but greatly enhances their understanding of the game.
I truly love this program! Having taught both 1st and 2nd grades, I’ve found it beneficial in both settings. It offers a variety of games suitable for every learner, including reading and math skills. It’s an incredible app that I’ve been using for years and plan to continue.
My Kindergarten students are big fans of this game on their devices! I use it as a fun reading activity once they complete their other tasks, although participation isn’t mandatory. However, they usually choose to engage with it because it is enjoyable and educational. They learn effectively while having fun!
I have a great appreciation for this program. I first introduced it to my grandson when he was just 2 years old, and now at 11, he still loves playing the games and has mastered letter sounds. I recommend it to all my friends and parents at school. I also use it with some children at my workplace. It’s a game that facilitates learning, and they can continue playing at home on any web browser. Some children have different learning styles, and this program effectively caters to that. There are currently four games available, and I also enjoy the number game.
I teach students with learning disabilities and they LOVE Teach Your Monster. I am able to set up assignments for them to do on their levels and they love that they get to play games and earn different things for their monsters. They constantly ask me to play!
My 2 grade son couldn't speak any English at all. However, the design, sounds, and gameplay of this application seem to have resonated with him, and he plays it enthusiastically every day. Thanks to this, he has gradually learned to read simple English words. He's learning English in a completely new way that we parents never would have imagined. We are very grateful for this application.
