As a technology teacher in a K-1 setting, I use this program with hundreds of students. While managing player accounts can be cumbersome, the benefits are worth it. I teach and review phonics skills and how to navigate our devices. We utilize QR badges for logins, though they don’t work for this platform. I appreciate being able to customize usernames for students, making them simpler and more personal. This year, I also printed progress trackers, which students use to visually track their progress. I recommend this approach; it requires extra effort but greatly enhances their understanding of the game.
