Honest objective review after 2 years with Team Bull

I spent 2 years in Team Bull (TB), and then months in other groups, so I have a good comparison. The contrast is stark. TB is built on hype & ego, with a focus on self-promotion, creating content for their socials, and pushing affiliate codes - not education. If you want real, structured education, TB isn’t the place. They do offer a mastermind program for an additional $2,500, but even that education is extremely basic. * There’s zero structured education within the discord. Any questions in the discord’s chat are typically told to go to their YouTube channel, if addressed at all. Even their “mastermind” which isn’t a part of the discord, doesn’t cover even basic essentials like institutional order flow, MTA, proper trend analysis, or gamma exposure, proper use of VWAP, AVWAP and EMAs, or any advanced options strategies (i.e spreads). Meanwhile, other groups run regularly scheduled classes most nights of the week, and teach from the foundational blocks of trading to pro-level concepts. TB doesn’t even cover the basics properly in their mastermind, what other groups cover with their regular membership.
* Other groups spend an hour before the bell outlining levels, reviewing indexes, key tickers, VIX, potential globex traps, and setups. Team Bull? JDun often rolls in at market open and often has to ask what economic data is dropping that day, and doesn’t have any levels charted. Even the “watchlist” section in the discord is nearly always empty* Live trading: Approximately 95% of TB’s trades are on a single ticker, NQ, with 5–6 admins all watching this same ticker. They stare at the same chart, debating whether to go long or short for 1-2 hours. One day, I listened to them debate NQ all morning, while another group I was watching simultaneously, called multiple winning trades across futures and options, teaching nonstop with detailed reasoning using all the tools mentioned earlier, and price slicing to determine the best contracts to use and alt. strategies to minimize risk and margin requirements. The difference was dramatic* Another day, I entered a trade using the skills I learned from the other group, managed the trade calmly according to market structure, and rode it for approximately 60 points when JDun calls out the same trade in the same direction. Price continued in our direction; at which point JDun was up 12 pts (I was up about 72) and JDun was acting like he just won the Super Bowl, absolutely SCREAMING, “THERE WE GO!!! YEAH! YES! YES! SNIPER ENTRY!” Followed by the customary “who caught that with me!” so he can record it & post to his socials. The price had already made a big move and he’s screaming, “sniper entry” for a tIny move and post it to socials* Also, it’s not uncommon to have one admin going long and another short on the same ticker, over the same time period. In fact, one time there were 2 admns in longs and 2 in shorts, at the same time. Separately, sometimes 1 admin will be going long, and JDun will say something like, “I can’t justify going long here, but I hope it works for you.” Which is fine, but it leaves members confused. If the trade works out, JDun will boast: “No one does it like Team Bull. GREAT trade!” If the trade doesn’t work out, he’ll say, “you see, that’s why I couldn’t take that trade.” He positions himself like that a lot, where he can’t lose. Even when he takes a trade and price starts to go against him, he’ll say, “this is the better entry” without any explanation as to why or why he didn’t wait. If the trade goes green, he measures it from “the better entry.” If it’s a losing trade, he’ll typically say, I went small or make some excuse like he doesn't trade well on Mondays. If he gets stopped out, and later the price moved in his direction he’ll say, “you see, that’s the move I was looking for.” If he gets stopped out & price never moves in his direction, he’ll say, “that’s why I got out where I did.” Either way, he wins in appearance. If I had more space, I could give countless examples* Every win is milked. Admins always say “drop a W in chat” or “post your gains” after trades, to create content for hype videos, even if the win was tiny or preceded by a loss(es). * IMO, there are some genuinely good people (Grizz, GD) & JDun has a good heart—but his focus is on marketing the discord, rather than true education; although I honestly don’t think he has the knowledge to teach anything beyond basic concepts; and his narcissism/ego is enormous* Bottom line: TB is a hype machine, with conflicting callouts, ego, and pushing affiliate codes. No real or structured education, or professionalism. There are much better groups to learn to trade correctly. Learned more in 2 months in another group than 2 yrs w/TB* JDun offered giveaways for positive reviews in April '24 which is why you see so many positive reviews over that time
