Teleperformance now does apple. That's funny. They both seem like good companies on the outside but once you take a closer look.... Not so much. I figured it would be good to work at a call center. I've been on the sales floor for darn near 2 decades selling phones. Pretty safe to say I know that side of it rather well. But I have never done a call center. My work history is as clean as a whistle. I've never been fired or even written up. Not a single write up. I have had only 4 jobs in 19 years. So I have a good track record. My story sounds a lot like a different reviewer a couple reviews down from me. Like I said I have a perfect job history and a long one at that. I have been in the phone game for longer than apple. But a little while ago I got in a tiny bit trouble outside of work in a area of life that does not effect anything whatsoever in the workplace. It was almost 8 years ago and for some reason, after I passed their torture of an interview without any snags. I got hired. I got pictures taken for an ID badge. I got a call 2 days later saying they are withdrawaling my offer. I can say I was honestly insulted by their lack of judgement. I told them everything upfront. I believe in honesty. The amount of time I wasted doing that bogus interview was a joke. I'm not heartbroken over it. I was insulted but not heartbroken. They were hurting for employees so I figured I would help them out. It just shows the lack of good decision making skills from apple. The very next place I went to gave me a better job with better hours and better pay. Sidenote: during the interview they àllowed calculators on their computers during a test. I was doing some extremely easy math on it since a had time (and why not) but kept getting weird totals so I decided to record this calculator exchange and I would put money on alot of people miss those if not paying attention. Anyway, screw apple
