I used to like shopping on TEMU for the most part. Most of the stuff was junky, but the good stuff was good and the bad stuff was easily returned...until TODAY!
I ordered a beach tent. It pops opened from a small circular package. It has wires and is impossible to figure out how to fold without instructions. The instructions I was given were for a HAMMOCK, not the tent product.
The tent is flimsy, won't stand up properly and I wanted to return it. I cannot repackage it because I cannot fold it without breaking it. I contact TEMU and they say to GO PURCHASE A BOX AND WE WILL REIMBURSE YOU! LOL! If I could even find a 4' tall box to purchase, it would cost more than the $16 tent! Do I trust them to reimburse me? NO!!!!!!
I tell them to have a courier pick the tent up and pack it. They promise to have UPS pick it up and pack it. Then they give me...PACKING INSTRUCTIONS!
I go around in circles with incompetent "customer service" reps who ask the same questions over and over, tell me to pack it, tell me to "reschedule with UPS", etc etc etc. All for a stupid $16 tent that won't even stand upright and can't be packed for return!
I am so frustrated with TEMU, and will NEVER SHOP there again once I use up my return credits.
They should be ashamed to mistreat customers so badly, especially one who had purchased a lot over several years.
