Bought some bakes from Terry on a whim to see what all the hype was about . ( I actually bake myself but just wanted someone else to do all the hard work for once ) 15 weeks I waited - nothing - contacted Terry by email to be told they’d been delivered . Cakes no where to be seen and Nikita said to take it up with Royal Mail - Royal Mail said to take it up with Terry . Eventually after back and forth emails they decided as a “gesture of goodwill” to send another box . I waited another month and they arrived .
They were in a terrible state . Box was fine but cakes inside were most definately not . It was as if they’d been packed whist still hot . Icing and decoration had melted and slid off . Same with topping on white oatie . The cookie marshmallow thing with pistachio was in the worst state of the lot . Melted chocolate coating and green pistachio filling had oozed out everywhere. Such a horrendous mess and most unappetising . The cookie pie dough wedge was the only item that actually looked edible and to be fair was actually lovely ( all be it a bit sickly 🤢) - just a huge waste of money and time . ) I contacted them again stating I wasn’t happy and they basically said they were sorry about the appearance but were unable to control this and that again it was royal mails problem . Nikita then failed to reply to any further correspondence .
Not the best way to run a business . I feel cheated out of my money 😔
