Last Sunday we went to Terry Costa prom dress shopping, and will also be the last time I ever step foot in that store again. As my oldest and her cousin sat in the dressing room I was looking for dresses with my cousin only to return to the dressing room to find out the sales associate had body shamed my daughter. She was removing dresses from her dressing room telling her they won’t fit her. As my daughter tried to explain to her that she can wear multiple different sizes depending on how the dress is made. The sales associate then cut her off mid sentence and said let me finish talking. Needless to say after attempting one more dress we left. I have contacted corporate but have yet to get any response back. The fact that an adult thought it would be ok to talk to a teenager the way she did is unacceptable.
