I had an extremely distressing experience traveling with Thai Airways from Ho Chi Minh City to Brazil with my two dogs.
Before the trip, I carefully completed all required procedures, including formally requesting and adding my dogs to the reservation. I received a confirmation email stating that everything was in order.
However, when I arrived at the airport — with multiple suitcases and my dogs — I was suddenly informed that my pets had not been included in the booking. Despite showing the confirmation email, the staff offered no meaningful assistance, no clear explanation, and no attempt to resolve the situation.
As a result, I was forced to cancel my ticket on the spot.
This was not only financially damaging but also emotionally exhausting, especially when traveling internationally with animals. What makes the situation even worse is that I have not received any follow-up, clarification, or support since the incident.
A truly disastrous experience and deeply disappointing customer service.
