Phoned to ask if I can have their WiFi and router put in an outbuilding well away from my house so a separate contract seemed the only option. After texting and being told it was more expensive then I was offered. A week later I decided to call and explained that I’m happy with my current provider for my house but this needs to be a separate service from that. Assured this was ok and we set up the direct debit. 45 mins on hold for the installer to which the line then goes dead. We then get an email from our current home WiFi provider asking for £500 and stating we were terminating the service. I call 4th utility. They apologise constantly but cannot in fact give me a separate WiFi for some reason. Now I made sure they could before I set up the direct debit obviously. They said I need to speak with the cancellation team as they can’t simply cancel my new contract. (They can all take your money though)!This was on a Saturday and of course the cancellation team doesn’t work Saturdays. I need to phone up during normal work hours mon to Fri 9am to 5pm. Guess what we all work those hours. Can’t call me? No of course not that’s far too easy. Can’t email or do this online. No don’t be silly. 55mins and counting on hold so far. Thought I’d use this shocking services music and hold time to do something constructive like leaving them a review they absolutely deserve. Poor poor company. Salesman just want to sign you up. No customer service whatsoever. Shocking from start to finish!
