I was notified by email on Sunday afternoon 2 hours before i was supposed to check in that there was no apartment for me. It was snowing and i was on the NJ turnpike alone with an entire SUV filled with the things i needed for a month’s work in NYC. I had to unload everything and stay at a hotel that night and pay an extra day of the rental car.
Then i was told i could move into 1001 so i did. That apartment was a nightmare with the AC’s still in the window and only cardboard next to them while it was snowing outside. Then i was moved to 301. Then the heating and hot water which had already been intermittent, completely failed the entire building for almost 24 hours while it was 12* outside. While on the phone with Blueground i saw a bunch of mice running across the floor. The things that had needed to be fixed for me to move into that apartment had never been fixed. There was no front door security lock. The building came to change it and put an interior door lock on it. Those apartments in the original building were clearly not correctly permitted for the amount of “bedrooms” you are claiming on your website as the building permits were clearly displayed right in the hallway and both of those apartments were permitted for one bedroom. Neither apartment had a closet even though that is also showing on your floor plans. I had to spend two hours building rolling racks that i had to order. I finally had to pay an uber to move me over snow banks to 311 W 50th. This was after a nearly 4 hour conversation with Jose who couldn’t seem to get a manager to take any of these issues seriously. Then i was told i would have to pay more to be moved again!
I lost almost three full days of work dealing with the fact that no one at Blueground could communicate with each other to solve this for me. They finally refunded me a tiny amount of the money almost a month after I moved out, and today I discovered they are trying to claw the money back that they sent me!! It will not end.
