Had a terrible experience buying a ResmedAirsense 11. The machine was defective and produced a solvent-like smell that hurt my lungs. The CPAP store asked me to return the machine to Resmed for troubleshooting. Resmed determined the printed circuit board was faulty and a new machine would be sent to the CPAP Store. I told the CPAP store I no longer wanted the machine - to just keep the new replacement machine and return my money, or send me a Resmed 10 which I decided I trust more. The store offered a Resmed 10 for the same price (not offering money back) despite it costing around $200 less than the Airsense 11. That was my first clue this is not an ethical business. I then said I’ll just request my money back — and they refused. They sent me a tracking number twice, making it appear they already shipped the new machine to me. The track numbers turned out to be false since they didn't track and I never received the new machine. I asked my Visa credit card to refund my money, and after I could prove I never received the new replacement machine, I got the refund through Visa.
