This was my first order from the Fish Society and I am really disappointed, not only in the fish I received but in the fact that I wrote a review for their website and, despite my chasing, it has not been published.Had it been published, I might well have given them another chance. Instead I looked at the reviews on Trustpilot. I wish I had done so before ordering!I ordered the butterfly red mullet fillets. But they weren't filleted! Not only were there many bones throughout, but there was a "spine"-like row of bones down the middle. I had to cut this spine out, leaving me with four tiny fillets (after I had filleted them) instead of two nice sized butterflied fishes. The bones were huge! The fins along the back of the fishes were still intact! All in all a messy and disappointing experience.Especially so as Fish Society is one of the few suppliers were one can buy "naked scampi" - although they required thorough cleaning and a couple of them were clearly well beyond fresh.
