It brings me some sadness writing this review. I have been with Green thumb for perhaps over a decade and never had a problem. Unfortunately the chap who ran the local franchise left. Recently Green thumb attended the property and leftMe a note saying that they wouldn’t complete the treatment due to there being leaves on the grass and it being too long!! This has never happened before. I have then emailed the company to ask someone to give me a call to discuss the issue. Over a week later I have received no response. I have then rang the company and was advised the franchise has reverted back to the main company. Furthermore, that green thumb are now being stricter with their policies. Having considered the situation I no longer feel that geeen thumb are the right fit for me. I don’t want to be trudging outside, mowing the lawn in winter, and blowing the leaves of the lawn. Especially the last point, it would only take them 3 minutes to blow a few leaves off. As i say I think there has been a culture shift in the company and this is not going to work for me. If they aren’t willing to blow some leaves off the lawn then it’s not going to work. On a positive note, the lady I spoke with was very pleasant. I have now cancelled the direct debit and will have a chat with a competitor.
