Avoid at all costs! Never again will I visit the groom room.When we dropped our show cocker spaniel off for her groom we asked that she be kept on the longer side. We also had discussions about this after her last wash appointment and they agreed they would cut her fur to half the length at her next full groom. However, when we went to pick her up after her groom all her lovely fur had been completely shaved off, to the point where we've had to buy her a jumper because she was shivering. We weren't even offered an explanation as to why our dog is now bald. I know she wasn't matted because we'd spent hours over the days before her groom brushing her with a fine comb to ensure she wasn't matted. They have completely ignored our request and the breed standards. I can't even say they've done a good job of shaving her as she has a line across the top of her neck and jagged razor marks down her back. It's embarrassing, I'm embarrassed for my dog.We were also charged more than we were quoted. It's only when I looked at the receipt afterwards that I noticed they'd added charges on for fancy shampoo we didn't request nor were we told about, on top of an already extortionate groom.I just wished I'd read the reviews before taking her. I'm now left with a very bald, cold and unsettled dog. Here's hoping her fur grows back and quick!
