I purchased the Blood Test Week expecting to receive my results directly, as I have with other at home testing kits in the past. Instead, I was informed via text that my results could only be reviewed during a consultation, which was rescheduled twice.

When the Zoom consultation finally happened, I was surprised to learn it was being recorded; something I had never encountered before for a simple lab review. From the beginning, the interaction felt more like a sales call than a health consultation. Having over 20 years of experience in sales myself, I immediately recognized the sales pitch format. When I questioned why my results hadn’t simply been released through email or a portal, my concern was ignored and the sales script continued.

At that point, I clarified that I already work with a functional medicine doctor and had only ordered the test to review my markers independently. Only then did she agree to release my results and abruptly ended the call.

When I opened the results, I discovered that the age, and date of birth were not mine. I contacted her immediately, and while she sent another link, it didn’t work. I ultimately had to log into the portal myself to access my correct results.

I have no issue with high-ticket offers when they are transparent and ethical. I’ve been a longtime supporter of Dr. Axe, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Health is not an area where aggressive sales tactics, poor communication, or data errors are acceptable. Mixing up patient information and withholding results behind a sales process is both unethical and unacceptable.

Going forward, I will rely solely on my practitioner for testing and interpretation.
