Negative Review

This agency plays games with buyers.

We were very interested in purchasing the bungalow at 21 Wallace Crescent. The property was listed at the beginning of December 2025. Even before viewing the house, we submitted an offer £25,000 above the asking price.

We then waited over a month for a response. Every time we asked for an update, the agency blamed the seller, saying that the owner was taking a long time to decide. Meanwhile, the property remained online and viewings continued. Eventually, we were informed that the house had been sold to another buyer.

Shortly after, the property appeared online again. When we called to ask what was happening, we were told that the previous buyer had not provided all the required documents and that the property was back on the market. We submitted another offer, and at the same time offered help with selling our own property. The agency then pressured us to use their solicitor for the purchase. We agreed and allowed our personal details to be passed on, believing in good faith that the house would be ours.

In the meantime, we received an offer on our own house and informed the agency immediately. This made us an ideal, chain-ready buyer. From the very beginning, we were given hope and reassurance that the property was ours.

In the end, Bella called to inform us that the house had been sold to another party .

We were kept as a backup option for over two months, while the property remained online the entire time despite our offer being in place from the start. This caused us significant stress. We were actively looking for schools and a GP, fully convinced that the purchase would go through — only to have the property given to another buyer.

I am warning other buyers to be aware of the methods this agency uses. Our experience was extremely stressful and deeply disappointing.

This agency is playing a game with some buyers!

Negative Review, 0 stars This agency plays games with buyers. We offered £25,000 above the asking price for the bungalow at 21 Wallace Crescent before even viewing it. Despite this, we were kept waiting for over a month while being repeatedly told the seller was “deciding.” The property stayed online the entire time and viewings continued. We were later told the house was sold, then suddenly put back on the market. We submitted another offer and were pressured to use the agency’s solicitor, believing the purchase was secure. We even sold our own property and informed them immediately, making us a perfect, chain-ready buyer. After more than two months of being kept as a backup, we were told the house had been sold to another party. This caused us huge stress. We were arranging schools and GP, fully believing the house was ours. I strongly warn other buyers to be aware of this agency’s unfair and misleading practices. They knew for over two months that we were very keen to buy this house and that we were willing to increase our offer, yet they still chose another buyer. One has to wonder why.Ewa and Pawel

Fantastic!

We bought our first flat through Home 12 years ago and have moved twice since then, each time using Home to sell our property. The service has honestly just got better and better over the years! We cannot fault them. The team are dedicated and they work so hard to provide exceptional, seamless service, whether you’re buying or selling. They go above and beyond and they really are miles ahead of other agents we’ve come into contact with over the years. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Home, in fact I wouldn’t use any other estate agent!

I used their enquiry form and they…

I used their enquiry form and they didn't get back to me. After I chased them they said all the slots had gone. Not the level of communication skills that you need from a estate agent.

They never give up...till its sold!!

We tried to sell our terrace with 5 different agents on and off for 4 years, every agent we used would advertise ,and let the ad do the job.Wait and wait ...HOME were the only ones who worked hard and were very proactive, reaching many more buyer than mere online ads..and even when the sale fell through, but we already had a chain in place, were able to re-advertise and aggressively market the property ,and got it sold AGAIN in the nick of time !Saved 5 families on the chain..Well done! You deserve all the awards and more !🏆

We could not have asked for better

We could not have asked for a better experience with an estate agents. The Home Partnership were fantastic. They went above and beyond to support our sale and purchase. Their in-office sales progressor (Jo), was invaluable in helping keep the chain together to enable completion. Even after the sales had completed, they have continued to help resolve issues. They weren’t pushy at any stage in their approach and it always felt that they wanted the best outcome for all the parties they were working for.We also used their in-house Mortgage Brokers. They also worked very hard to support us throughout the process. This included a really chaotic exchange of contracts/completion. They were always available to communicate and were always really friendly, helpful and supportive.
