A disorganised institute. It never seems to answer its phones. It constantly is updating its electronic communication systems. Its wiring forum is difficult to access or register with, and it constantly changes its structure from a workable one to a new poorer one. Its wiring forum is run by non technical staff that are less than qualified to do their jobs, although the contributors are well qualified. The new wiring regulation book BS 7671 is now very much over priced.I am not really sure just what benefit membership has apart from creating profit for the I.E.T.Bring back the Institution of Electrical Engineers. (I.E.E.).P.S. I recently did get through on the phone and spoke to a young woman. During the call as I was prompted by her to enter my bank card details the connection was lost, or did she put the phone down on me? I think that the latter was the case as she did not call me back. That sort of thing is just so rude.
