I have tried and tried and tried to contact the IET. Many phone calls and emails. I have not had a response, and no one picks up the phone or responds/replies!!Absolutely terrible service, especially as they make the rules that electricians have to abide by.Update: November 2023 I am still waiting for a response from my emails. It seems that when you have an issue that they don't like, they go quiet.The phrase "Do as I say, don't do as I do" comes to mind with this body. They make the rules, but when you find one that doesn't work, they don't care.
