I'm writing another review after previously sharing a negative experience, as the company reached out to me long after the issue occurred, asking me to revise my review positively. I was enrolled in a membership without my consent for content I only intended to access during a free trial. After realizing this, I canceled my membership on their website without even accessing any materials, which are easily found through a quick online search. The monthly fee of $40 for such content targeting stressed individuals is outrageous. Five days after canceling, I was unexpectedly charged $39.99 again without any email confirmation explaining the charge. I had to contact customer support myself, and they merely offered a 50% refund. This was their error, and I shouldn't have been charged at all. I had to exchange messages about ten times, expressing my frustration and demanding a full refund before they finally complied. Initially, they offered a 75% refund as a 'courtesy' before issuing the full refund only after I insisted again. It's been two days since the charge occurred, and the amount has yet to return to my account. They claim it's my bank's fault, but I know charges can be reversed while pending, especially shortly after they occur. They did not resolve my issue or provide any assistance; they merely rectified a mistake they made. Furthermore, it feels like all customer service representatives are AI bots, as the images appear fake and their responses are identical. This seems to be a deceptive business model aimed at exploiting vulnerable individuals for their money. Many others have reported being pressured to change their reviews, reinforcing my concerns. Asking someone to amend their review after the fact is unethical, especially when the original problem should never have happened. They also refuse to take responsibility, blaming me for not reading the subscription terms, which I never received since I didn't sign up for a subscription.
