I have ordered Mystery Gift boxes for the last 3 or 4 Christmases. I have no family and don't really make a big deal of it, but I quite like having something to open on the day, the contents of which are a surprise. I think the first box I ordered was quite good, but each year they have been incrementally less worthwhile, and I have to say that the one I had this year was pretty poor value. The two food items were okay and will always get used, but the two main gifts were much more relevant to a child (I specifically ordered a box for an adult woman), and the rest was of little interest or use. All in all, I reckon the value of the contents was probably about half what I paid. Last year's was a little disappointing but I was optimistic enough to hope that this year's would be better, but I'd have to say it really wasn't, and I doubt I will order another. I'm really sorry to post this review as it's a small business that I have tried to support, but I think they need to improve somewhat. They also need to stop putting in all those annoying shiny star things, as they get everywhere and I spend the whole year clearing them up!
