I’ve been ordering these monthly mystery boxes for a good while now. I love the surprise and how I get it wrapped for more of the anticipation of wondering what it will be. I must admit, getting a bit fed up of having face masks every month, needs a little tune up.

I've just opened the box I ordered for my birthday and what an absolute pile of cr@p I've been sent. I'm absolutely fuming! There's nothing inside the box of what type of items I wanted. This was for a 45 year old male, not a 5 year old child. Disgusting! Having spent over £200 on 2 boxes, I will not be returning.
I like the idea, good price options compared to what else I could find - the contents hasn't been opened yet as this was part of a Christmas box. I'm not going to take a star off as ultimately it makes no difference, but I think the wrapping isn't great. The main issue is the paper, if they want to use branded paper, fine, but at least look a bit Christmassy. It's just white with their logo. Do it yourself if you really want to gift it to someone, if you're treating yourself, just know you're opening an advert. They might as well wrap it with pages from an Argos catalogue.
I have ordered Mystery Gift boxes for the last 3 or 4 Christmases. I have no family and don't really make a big deal of it, but I quite like having something to open on the day, the contents of which are a surprise. I think the first box I ordered was quite good, but each year they have been incrementally less worthwhile, and I have to say that the one I had this year was pretty poor value. The two food items were okay and will always get used, but the two main gifts were much more relevant to a child (I specifically ordered a box for an adult woman), and the rest was of little interest or use. All in all, I reckon the value of the contents was probably about half what I paid. Last year's was a little disappointing but I was optimistic enough to hope that this year's would be better, but I'd have to say it really wasn't, and I doubt I will order another. I'm really sorry to post this review as it's a small business that I have tried to support, but I think they need to improve somewhat. They also need to stop putting in all those annoying shiny star things, as they get everywhere and I spend the whole year clearing them up!
I ordered six boxes same value and don't want to open them. One box weighs 632g and for comparison the other 5 weigh around 1200g Although I appreciate gifts of same value can weigh differently it makes me feel a little unsure. With this in mind I have now ordered a replacement box.
Wow! My son loved his box for his 12th birthday! Such great fun & thoughtful gifts. We were especially impressed with the mini hoover for his pc!! You clearly understand the mess these boys make, it felt really personal & sweet. Can't wait to continue ordering more! Thankyou so much xxx
