There is a lack of competence. I paid for the retrieval, packing, and shipping of artwork purchased at auction, but they lost the package due to poor packing. Allegedly, they misplaced the box created in their own facility. Customer service was unhelpful and curt, stating I was out of luck since I didn’t purchase insurance. I requested documentation but received none. I had to contact the auction house for help, which seemed to get their attention. Overall, the service refunded their fees but I lost the artwork and its value due to mishandling. This is unacceptable; the size and value of items should not affect their treatment.
