Review Time
Ordered a diary. I got notice that it was posted 2nd class. After nearly 2 weeks it had not arrived and I emailed The Pen Company twice to find out more. I had no response or acknowledgment, which is the basis of my review. Item actually arrived after 14 days. Second class post (“48 hrs”) is obviously pretty useless.
Really amazing customer service. I ordered a pen for my son's birthday, which was left outside my house by royal mail and ended up being stolen. James at the Pen Company replied to my emails almost immediately, with polite, detailed responses and within 24 hours from my initial enquiry sent out a replacement using a secure next day delivery. A parcel sent by another firm had been stolen at the same time and we are still at the "have you checked with the neighbours stage" with the other firm, when I already have the replacement from TPC. Fantastic!
I was heartbroken to discover my beloved Fisher Space Pen had gone missing and so jumped online to find a replacement. The Pen Company not only had the exact model I was looking for, but at a very competitive price and the offer of free engraving. However, half way through the payment my screen started lagging, and eventually I had to call the company to ascertain whether the order had been processed. My call was answered by am extremely helpful man who was calm and patient after I explained I was autistic and stressed out that the payment had fallen through. It transpired that the fault was with my bank, and he persisted until the payment cleared. My pen arrived this morning, 5th April, despite the order only being processed on 3rd April at 2p.m. It is beautifully engraved and in working order, and the only thing that could possibly make me any happier is if my missing pen was found.
There weren't many reviews on Trustpilot for The Pen Company so I was a little apprehensive making an order with them. However everything went well. Order was dispatched very quickly and, via second class post, it got to me 2 days later. Good quality product, no scratches, excellent price.
I can't speak highly enough of my first experience with The Pen Company. I ordered a dual pen set with engraving at 4PM on a Friday afternoon and it arrived very well packed the next morning by Royal Mail First Class, everything in pristine condition and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again!
Truly wonderful company. I spoke to James, and the service I received was 2nd to none; not knowing what type of pen I was looking for, the knowledge James had enabled me to purchase a genuinely excellent pen engraved at no cost, and I have never been happier.It is a pleasure to have a genuinely excellent friendly voice and someone who truly cares about what they do, and it's important to say that being a family business made it all worthwhile to support and not just being treated as a number by larger companies. The delivery was the next day and so well packaged. A BIG WELL DONE!
The pen arrived damaged due to poor packaging and I was told a replacement would be sent. Instead an empty box was sent. The Pen Company refuse to do anything more. Buy from anyone else their customer service stinks. You are told one thing but another thing happens. This happened repeatedly to me and I would not recommend the experience to anyone.They use another review company which rates them 5/5 - the reason? They only ask for review from satisfied customers and are not interested in resolving complaints.
