Returned an item that was purchased in error. The gift set arrived and the box looked second hand to begin with. Upon returning the product the Perfume shop refused my refund stating that the perfume had been opened and sprayed, a complete fabrication. I know for a fact that the bottle wasn't sprayed as i opened the box and closed it again for return.
Without confirming how they determined this, other than through their stringent inspections they are steadfast in their position. I have conducted my own assessment, there's no liquid in the spray tube and no residue on the nozzle and once I return to store to show the evidence I bet that the first pump doesn't release any spray.
Another set of lies in the response from this sham company. There’s absolutely no evidence the perfume was sprayed. Normally I would let something like this go but as I was the only one to touch the bottle I know for a fact it wasn’t sprayed whilst in my possession. My conclusion is that they have sold a previously used product and are now using that to withhold my refund, diabolical.
Needless to say i wont be using the Perfume Shop ever again.
