Coventry shop yesterday: served by a young woman who lied about the loyalty card and got cross with me for pointing it out.
I was asked to sign up, which I did not want to do if it involved giving personal information. Server said, ‘no personal information, just your email address’ (!!!). On pointing out an email address IS personal, out came the anger. The young woman would not look at me, and would not give me a bag.
She also took a gift card off me and the perfume I was holding (as if I was a shoplifter, but at the same time taking my money, too, so I could not leave without losing £25, then. IGNORED me and served a man who was also waiting.
Worse service than Poundland. I will not go there again.
Customers shouldn’t have to put up with angry staff because we don’t want to share personal details ONLY our money.
The entitlement was off the charts. Awful place.
