I have to say it feels like a scam, though I can't fully label it as such since I did receive it. However, it didn't match the appearance in the advertisement, which left me disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this item, even though it now serves as a rather pricey mattress pad cover. I'm not considering returning it; from what I've read, that seems like a hassle. I'll just take this as a lesson learned, and now I have a $150 mattress pad cover. :-)
