I've been fortunate enough to take both The Power Ecommerce and The Power MBA programs. Both have been very satisfying. The opportunity to participate in interviews with the world's leading experts in different markets makes them unique. The 100% practical and realistic approach makes the content completely applicable to the daily life of anyone who participates in the programs.
They stand for their own slogan of revolution in education. What did you expect, life changing, world is changing, educational programs have to keep up with this pace or die. I gotta admit that with increasing demand, even I decided to get some education, mine was kinda outdate in modern reality, so I said you either keep up or say good bye🤷♂️😮 But, what made me to stop on this online option, it’s flexibility and the fact that they work directly with top global companies, so after finishing learning, you’ll be occupied, not waving your diploma in hopes, some company will pay attention😅
I purchased ThePowerMBA as part of a €1500 package, expecting to have access to the course whenever I needed it, as is common for online courses. To my shock, I was recently told that I will lose access because I didn’t complete it within a specific timeframe—something that was not clearly communicated at the time of purchase.The payment page includes a date buried under a dropdown menu, but it does not explain that failing to complete the course by this date would result in losing access. This type of condition is highly unusual for online courses and, in my understanding, likely not compliant with EU consumer protection laws. Such important terms must be made clear before purchase, not hidden in pages of terms and conditions.Additionally, the course content is displayed in a strict format where you have to complete one module to unlock the next. This means I can’t even access the parts of the course that are interesting to me and skip the ones that are basic or irrelevant. Many sections feel very elementary or simply don’t apply to my situation, making the strict format frustrating and limiting.What’s worse, they are now pressuring me multiple times to pay an additional €200-250 (depending on how long I want to extend the access), even contacting me repeatedly via WhatsApp, which feels highly unprofessional. It’s frustrating because it costs them nothing to keep the course available, and it feels like they are exploiting this situation to make extra money from customers who trusted them.My personal circumstances changed significantly after purchasing this course—one of my businesses failed, and I am now pregnant. I simply didn’t have the time to complete the course on their schedule. But instead of understanding, they are trying to charge me more money for something I already paid for.As someone who loves to consume online courses, it’s baffling that they would prioritize charging me this extra €200 over maintaining a happy customer who might have purchased from them in the future. After this experience, I will never buy from them again, and I would strongly caution others to avoid them as well.
Bad experience with the power education (Hackio's Data Science programme)My experience with this school has been very negative. I enrolled in a face-to-face master's course that was supposed to start in January 2025, but only 20 days before the start, I was informed of a unilateral change in the conditions: a two-month delay in the start and an unexpected extension of the duration from 4 to 7 months. This severely affected my planning, as I even quit my job in order to attend.When I asked for my money back, they took much longer than reasonable to process it and did not respond to my emails for several days. The management was unprofessional, with no transparency or respect for the students.I would not recommend this school to anyone looking for a serious and committed school. Before enrolling, make sure they deliver what they promise, because my experience was the opposite.
They promised me a discount before enrolling to the program. Then they sent me a 12% discount per mail, I booked after ensuring I got the 12% discount correctly applied. When I proceeded with the payment, I got a confirmation from PayPal saying that I paid the full-price. Customer service replies to my messages but doesn't solve my issue. Are they waiting that I open a dispute on PayPal?
The content is fine. Some of it is good, but a lot of it is pretty basic and the platform isn't very good to use. The thing that really upset me though was the fact I was told on the way in I would be able to extend if I didn't get through the content in 18 months (which it is impossible to do even when watching almost every day), but they don't tell you you will need to pay to extend. Very misleading, unfair and not good value for money in the first place.
Support ignoring refund request for over a week now. I sent two separate emails asking for refund within the 14 day period and both were completely ignored. If you ask a regular question though, you'll get the response within an hour or so....
