I bought a 300g pack GYROS STYLE PORK (for making Greek style Pita Gyros) from TESCO for £6. I thought a bit steep but since I love Pita Gyros, I thought... lets give this a try!Sadly on trying this, I was hugely disappointed. It was in long life vacuum sealed clear plastic and was a lump of meat in a greasy sauce - the expiry date was 5 or 6 weeks in the future. There were many large lumps (1cm3+) of saturated fat in this bag and large parts of the meat that were just pure fat. It also stank - but not like any real Greek food I ever had. I decided I would not feed this to my or even to my dog. I binned the whole lot and put it down to experience. This was truly of dreadful quality. YUK!! So incredibly disgisting and unhealthy. If any of this lots restos are serving this slop, you would be 100% better elsewhere!
