Service from thermic was excellent. Sadly, product quality has declined significantly from the previous Thermic ski boot heating system. It's like someone who doesn't ski designed them. The battery pack is bulky (much more so than previously) The on/off button is exposed & the heaters can switch off inadvertently if pressure is applied from clothing etc. Rather than numbering the heat levels 1-3, there are flashing lights which you have to memorise in order to know what heat level you are on. Not a big deal but a completely unnecessary & unintuitive change. The changing cable is really flimsy, not the good quality of the previous one. I could go on, but in summary whilst the heating element fulfils the same function as previously, I am really disappointed that Thermic have produced such a poor quality replacement product. It seems most businesses are going down the route of built in obsolescence and are not building robust products, Therm-ic being no exception. Great service in terms of ordering, delivery & customer service but we'll see how long the various aspects of the product last
